Kelantan FA have started settling unpaid salaries – PFAM’s Izham Ismail

The Professional Footballers Association of Malaysia (PFAM) have confirmed that the five former Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) players have received the first installment of their unpaid salaries from KAFA.

It now appears that all relevant parties agreed to a payment plan that would allow KAFA to settle its debt through installments. All five players have now confirmed that the first installment has been processed.

Speaking through a statement that was released to the press, PFAM’s CEO Izham Ismail thanked KAFA for their co-operation before wishing them good luck for the rest of the season.

“PFAM would like to thank KAFA for responding amicably and opting to sort the situation out. On behalf of PFAM, I’d like to wish them good luck for the rest of the season,” he said.

Through the statement, PFAM also went on to urge ATM to match the professionalism shown by KAFA and hopefully settle their outstanding salary payments soon.
