Despite being under constant criticism for their dreadful performances this season, Chelsea managed to score the fastest goal in the English Premier League (EPL) this season.
They defeated Norwich City 2-1 last night, though the highlight of the game was evidently Kenedy’s goal, which was scored merely 39 seconds into the game.
The Brazilian youngster has been a bright spark in Chelsea’s season thus far, breaking into the first team set-up, making nine appearances besides scoring one goal.

Last night’s win was only Chelsea’s 10th win of the season, out of 28 matches thus far. According to a report by Reuters, The Blues’ manager, Guus Hiddink has set a new target for the club to achieve this season.
“We have set new aims for us to achieve but our main ambition would be to qualify for the Europa League while facing a very tight schedule,” he explained.
“If all the players are able to perform to full potential, we will fight for our place in the European competitions,” the Dutch added.
Chelsea is now 8th on the Premier League table, having collected 39 points thus far.
