Tunku Ismail ibni Sultain Ibrahim is currently travelling around Europe to discuss potential collaborations with the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.
The Crown Prince of Johor met up with former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho in Singapore last week, before flying off to Qatar on Saturday for a meeting with Paris Saint Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu held a meeting with Tunku Ismail yesterday, before presenting a souvenir to the owner of Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT). The both of them then went to watch Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique score in FC Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Sevilla at the Camp Nou in their La Liga match.
The meeting between Tunku Ismail and Josep Bartomeu went well as FC Barcelona will be keen to open doors for JDT to learn and share ideas in terms of management and philosophy.
Tunku Ismail will then travel to meet Valencia president Chan Lay Hoon on Thursday, before meeting Real Madrid president Florentino Perez in Madrid next Monday.
