Khairul Idham Pawi is looking forward to head to the circuit to test the machinery that will be used in his first season of the MotoGP World Championship during the Moto3 pre-season testing in Valencia, Spain.
The Honda Asia rider wants to make full use of his test session to get an understanding with his machinery and the team.
“This test session is important to me. I will be joining the MotoGP for the first time and I have a lot to learn,” he explained, as reported by Utusan Malaysia.
“At the same time, I cannot wait to be on the same circuit as other riders.
“I have been waiting for this moment for a long time, and it is finally happening.
Khairul surprised everyone when the 2014 Malaysian Cub Prix and Asia Dream Cup champion finished sixth in his first season of the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship in Spain, earning three podium finishes in the process.
“This season will be tougher. In addition to the improved machinery, the experience of the riders will play a bigger role.
“My team and I have not set any goals because what matters is that I get used to atmosphere of racing in the MotoGP.
“I have been constantly performing physical activities on and off the circuit to prepare me physically and mentally before the Moto3 season kicks off,” he concluded.
