Jonah Lomu was handed an emotional memorial service in Auckland yesterday, as masses of people from all over the world gathered to pay tribute to arguably one of the greatest Rugby players of all time.
The All Blacks legend passed away last month, after battling a kidney condition for over a decade. He passed away shortly after returning from the United Kingdom, where he watched the All Blacks clinch the Rugby World Cup title.
During the service, his ex-teammate and close friend, Eric Rush delivered a witty as well as an emotional eulogy in remembrance of Jonah.

Towards the end of the ceremony, Jonah’s ex-teammates gathered on the field, to perform one final haka, as they paid homage to a man who will continue to inspire generations of Rugby players with his legacy.
