Jazeman Jaafar ended his 2015 Formula Renault 3.5 Series campaign with two top-10 placings in the final round, held in Spain’s Jerez circuit.
The Malaysian managed to start on third spot for Race 1, but finished sixth in the end after heavy rain prevented a smooth race.
In Race 2, Jazeman continued his struggle with the car but improved on his position, ending up at eighth spot after starting from 14th place.
As a result, the Petronas-backed driver finished eighth in the overall championship with 118 points. His season highlight, though, remains on his victory in Monaco earlier this year.
“It has been a long, tough season,” he told The Malaysian Insider.
“I will always cherish the win in Monaco. There were also few podium finishes, and plenty of performances that I’m proud of,” he added.
