Serena Williams continues to dominate the WTA rankings, despite being sidelined with an injury to her left knee.
The injury forced the 33 year-old to drop out of the China Open earlier this month, allowing second-ranking Maria Sharapova to go on and win the tournament.
Even so, Williams hardly has anything to worry about, as she’s still nearly 2,000 points clear of the Russian in the rankings, followed by Romania’s Simona Halep and Petra Kvitova from the Czech Republic.
