Perak FA midfielder Nurridzuan Abu Hassan will be making a crucial career decision at the end of this year, with Johor DT now confirming their interest to acquire his services.
JDT’s royal patron, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim sat down with FourthOfficial.com earlier today and revealed that Nurridzuan is a player that he’s been admiring for quite some time now.
When asked to pick his favourite Malaysian XI, Tunku Ismail responded:” I’ll pick every JDT player, all of them are good enough for me, especially when you put them into a team.
“But if there’s one player I would pick from other teams, it would be Nurridzuan of Perak. He’s a talented kid, and a terrific footballer. He’ll fit into our current squad.
Nuri, as he is fondly known to the Perak fans, is a product of the President Cup squad and is known to be very fond of the state.
That being said, Tunku was relatively coy on whether an official approach has been made, though he did suggest that the ultimate decision would lie in Nurridzuan’s hands.
“We don’t know. At the end of the day, it’s his own decision. If he wants to join, we are always prepared to accept him with open arms,” he added.
The former Harimau Muda flanker has been in scintillating form for Perak this year, appearing as a bright shining star, in what has been a rather topsy-turvy season for them.
