For most football fans out there, Brendan Rodgers’ sacking did not come as a surprise. It’s a move that has been hotly debated for a while now, particular amongst Liverpool fans themselves, and rumours did intensify over the last few weeks.
So it’s probably fair to say that most players or ex-players, with significant contacts within the industry, saw it coming as well.
But when the news was announced last night, Thierry Henry – who was in the studio alongside Jamie Carragher – produced a comical reaction to the news, gripping Jamie’s thighs like he’d seen an actual zombie!
