Malaysia moved to the top of Group G in the AFF U16 Qualifiers after running rampant against Northern Mariana Islands, winning 13-0.
The Young Tigers were major favourites for the game, but the manner in which they dominated it from kick off was incredibly impressive as well.
Somasundram’s men netted six goals in the first half, before proceeding to up their tempo and scoring another seven in the second half.
Izreen Izwandy was undoubtedly the star of the game as he scored four goals in the game, to lead the top scorer’s charts as well.
Both Laos and Malaysia are currently on three points in the group, though the Young Tigers are on top by virtue of having a superior goal difference.
They will next take on Timor Leste, who lost to Laos, tomorrow evening.
