New signing Son Heung-Min proved why Tottenham Hotspur was keen on securing his services after a hat-trick as South Korea crushed lowly Laos 8-0 in their 2018 World Cup qualifier in Hwaseong, yesterday.
Son, who joined the English club for a reported 30 million Euros from German side Bayer Leverkusen, struck early in the first half before two late goals completed his triumph.

“It’s never easy to score even one goal against underdogs like Laos. I’m happy I helped the national team, before joining Spurs back,” he told Europsort.
The victory means that the Koreans sit top of Group G, with Kuwait, Myanmar, Laos and Lebanon occupying other spots.
Son will miss South Korea’s next match against Lebanon though, as he need to complete paperwork related to his transfer to Spurs.
