Spaniard Tommy Robredo cruised through his opening match of 2015 US Open, defeating his opponent Michael Berrer 6-2, 6-2, 6-4.
Sounds like a routine win for a player of Robredo’s calibre. But no, there was a touch of class about his win as well – one that would boost his confidence, heading into the second round.
The 33-year-old ended the third set in some style, hitting a magical forehand behind his back while he was on the run.
And, well, it worked.
