Moto2 rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah may be down, but he’s not out.
The 21-year-old Petronas Raceline rider is raring to get back into action at the Indianapolis GP this weekend, where he aims to finish among the top 10 at least.
“The Indianapolis track always holds fond memories for me.”
“I ended up in first place with Harley Davidson in 2013, then finishing seventh the consecutive year at the track.”
“I enjoyed my time out there at the track and am looking forward to claim a good spot,” Hafizh said, as stated in the Malay Mail.
The Selangor-born Hafizh has been recovering from food poisoning, which cost him points during last month’s German GP.
He started the race from 13th position but slowly ended the race at 16th position due to fatigue.
“Things took a bad unexpected turn in Germany. Now I need to work harder for a better standing, maybe at least in top 15 overall. I’m also aiming to help the team accomplish a top five placing this week.”
