Three time 500cc world champion and MotoAmerica President, Wayne Rainey, said he had no words to describe his feelings right now, in a statement released early yesterday morning by Mercury news.

“First and foremost, it’s a huge loss to the families and loved ones. Our deepest condolences to everyone who has been involved, other than the MotoAmerica family,” he added.

The accident occurred in the first round of the race, resulting in a chain-reaction involving other bikers as well, although the conditions of the others were not reported.
