Chief Executive of Renault, Carlos Ghosn has hinted that they might be on the verge of opting out of Formula One.
The French manufacturer will be supplying their engines to Red Bull and Toro Roso till next year and there are speculations of them not intending to renew their contract.
Red Bull won the world championships for four consecutive times from 2010 to 2013 but have been struggling with constant engine issues recently and their results had plummeted down this year.
“Everything is open. We are really reviewing the situation, we have different options. We still have not made a decision but we will make a decision soon,” said Ghosn when he attended the final round of the inaugural Formule E season.
When asked if those decisions include leaving the sport, he said “all the options are open”.
