Well what do you know, Louis Van Gaal does know how to let loose!
Seemingly aloof all the time, the Dutchman eventually caved in and spilled out his emotions and thoughts in an entertaining speech that set everyone smiling from their seats in the Manchester United Player of the Year awards.
Van Gaal was up on stage to summarize his first season at Old Trafford but what fans did not expect was his ability to fire up an enthusiastic atmosphere.
The Manchester United manager claimed that Manchester United was the ‘best team on the planet’ and that the fans are the ‘best in the world’. The audience could not stop cheering to the point Van Gaal had to quiet them down to continue his speech.
He sent everyone nodding heads on their seats and agreeing when he said Ryan Giggs was ‘always right’ and finally concluded the albeit long-winded but fervent speech by complimenting the saxophone lady.

Juan Mata, recipient of ‘Goal of the Season’ said “I think he enjoyed it. Obviously we have a lot of meetings during the season. We know how he can behave.”
Former cricket captain of England, Michael Vaughan labeled it as “greatest speech of all time”.
Former United defender and football pundit Gary Neville tweeted, “LVG is cracking me up here. Great entertainment! One of the best. Funniest 20 mins I’ve ever had!”
