Angel Di Maria starts from the bench as Louis van Gaal opted against making any changes to the starting eleven that impressed in their 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspurs last weekend. Fellaini continues his role in the team, while Rooney will spearhead their challenge upfront. Marcos Rojo also returns to the squad, though Smalling and Phil Jones will continue to start from the heart of their defence.
As for Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers is also looking to keep the momentum going by maintaining the same starting eleven from their last affair. Strurridge will continue to be their main man, while Gerard will remain on the bench for the time being. Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling, Henderson and Allen and Emre Can will be looking to provide ammunition for Sturridge tonight.
