Sir Alex Ferguson is arguably one of the greatest manager to have graced the game, if not the best. But as far as Manchester United is concerned, there’s no two-ways about his status; the man is regarded as a living legend for everything he accomplished with the Red Devils.
In almost 27 years at the club, he led them to 38 different trophies, including 13 Premier League titles and two UEFA Champions League title. It’s easy to argue that Sir Alex was a talented man in nature, which allowed him to do well, but truth be told, he took a reasonable amount of time to get accustomed to the demands at the club.
There was a lot of effort in terms of understanding what it takes to be successful and Sir Alex was extremely diligent in dealing with those expectations.
