The unexpected has happened! Chelsea, who were extremely confident of doing well in the UEFA Champions League this year, have been officially kicked out of the competition.
Having secured a 1-1 draw in the first leg at Paris, the Blues came into this game, thinking they could use home backing to their advantage and seize the tie from the get go. And it almost seemed like that when Zlatan Ibrahimovic got sent off halfway through the first 45 minutes. But the first goal of the game came on the 81st minute when Gary Cahill fired home to put Chelsea ahead.
But David Luiz equalized five minutes later to drag the game into extra time. Eden Hazard then scored on the 96th minute to restore their advantage but Thiago Silva destroyed the hopes of Chelsea fans by scoring on the 114th minute to send PSG through to the quarter finals on away goals!
