Arsenal have been dealt with a massive blow with reports coming out of England suggesting that their midfielder Jack Wilshere will have to be sidelines for approximately 3 months, with his current injury requiring surgery.
The England international was injured in Arsenal’s 2-1 loss to Manchester United last weekend, though initial rumours suggested that he would merely be out for weeks rather than months.
This puts a massive dent on Arsenal’s hopes of reviving their form, as they struggle at 7th place in the Premier League table. But beyond that, it also represents a terrible news for Wilshere himself, who often spent long periods recovering from injuries on the treatment table.
