VIDEO: Meet Reza Parastesh – the Iranian version of Lionel Messi!

It’s one thing to look like someone you know. But it’s a complete different thing to realize that your resemblance, to arguably the greatest footballer on the planet, is absolutely uncanny!

That’s the reality that seems to have dawned upon Reza Parastesh, who has been attracting plenty of attention on the streets of Tehran in recent times. And you can be forgiven for thinking he is Lionel Messi, even at first glance.

In an incredibly odd TV interview, Reza even goes on to reveal that his dad stopped him from coming home after Argentina’s narrow 1-0 win over Iran at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, given that Messi scored a late winner in that fixture.
