Only 80 days left for the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games, and the excitement and anticipation is building up.
Our Youth and Sports minister Khairy Jamaluddin has been busy running all the preparations with his team to make sure that everything is prepared come August.
This Sunday on the 4th of June, the minister will be making his way to the iconic Mount Kinabalu in Sabah for the Kuala Lumpur 2017 Torch Run. That’s not all, the minister is also looking for two Malaysians to join him in the adventure.
Here’s how some Malaysians reacted to it:
Some would only do it because it’s Khairy who is asking:
Some cannot do it for gastric reasons:
Some have unresolved issues with the Mount Kinabalu:
Some want to go only because they have never been to Sabah:
The “Torch Run” will tour around Malaysia from the 14th of May in Johor and end in Kuala Lumpur on the 12th of August 2017.
The run will culminate on the 19th of August when the torch is brought to the Bukit Jalil National Stadium to light up the SEA Games cauldron at the opening ceremony.
The fire will remain lit until the closing ceremony, when it will then be put out to mark the end of the Games.
If you want join Khairy and hike up Mt Kinabalu, just DM @KL2017 on Twitter!
