The most glorious and anticipated part of the SEA Games is always the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony is always studded with vibrant colours, costumes, loud cheers, all to create an electrifying atmosphere to fuel the excitement of what is to come.
More importantly, we want to see how the torch arrives at the venue!
Singapore set the bar high in 2015 SEA Games, with stunning visual displays, grand fireworks, aerial props, and vibrant costumes.
The torch bearer arrived in a traditional dragon boat at the water sports centre outside the National Stadium, before passing it on to Singapore’s badminton player, Liang Xiao Yu.
The KL SEA Games organising committee have been hard at work to make this SEA Games the best one yet, and we can’t wait to watch the 2017 KL SEA Games opening ceremony and beam with pride as all of our national athletes march by with utmost enthusiasm.
The best part is that the opening ceremony is open to all for attend. Priced at RM 20, there is absolutely no reason why you can’t attend and express your support for our national contingent.
The opening ceremony will be happening on 19th of August (Saturday) 6pm, at the Stadium Nasional, Kompleks Sukan Negara Jalan Barat, Wilayah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur.
