Australian forward Ndumba Makeche has finally returned to Malaysian football after signing with Malaysian Premier League outfit Perlis FA.
The ex-Sarawak man has been without a club since he was released by Bali United earlier this year, having struggled to make an impression over there. Prior to his stint with the Crocs, Makeche famously played alongside Zah Rahan Kranger at Felda United.
Makeche scored 15 goals in 35 appearances for Felda, before bagging 11 goals in 21 games for Sarawak last year.
After leaving Indonesia, Makeche returned to Malaysia to potentially look for fresh opportunities. He spent the last few months training with Shah Alam Antlers – a community football team based in the Klang Valley, though it now appears that he has landed a fresh gig for the rest of the year.
Besides Makeche, Perlis have also snapped up Madibo Konte, who previously played for Kuala Lumpur in the MPL back in 2015.
