Terengganu’s head coach Irfan Bakti recently announced that The Turtles will be dropping two of their import players season, Lutfulla Turaev from Uzbekistan, and Federico Falcone from Argentina.
Irfan Bakti confirmed both that Federico Falcone and Lutfulla Turaev will be dropped from the squad, but he did not reveal much details about who will replace the two players.
“For now, I can confirm that Federico Falcone and Lutfulla Turaev will be dropped from the squad. We have two new imports coming over, but I cannot reveal much details.”
“All I can say is that they will be arriving soon, and they will start training with us by June.” the head coach told Sinar Harian.
One of Terengganu’s new import has been identified as Gabriel Davis Dos Santos, set to replace Lutfulla Turaev’s position in the squad. Gabriel Davis has arrived in Terengganu for trials, and if all goes well he will sign with The Turtles.
Apart from Gabriel Davis, Terengganu is also keeping tabs on another import player from Ivory Coast, and a couple of local players from UITM FC and Felda United to bolster their squad before the second half of the season starts.
