National track cyclist’s bike gets stolen in Melbourne

It was not a good morning for Malaysia’s national track cyclist, Muhammad Shah Firdaus Sahrom, who is currently based in Melbourne.

The track cyclist had his bike stolen at 1.28 am in Melbourne, according to his fellow cyclist Fatehah Mustapa. Fatehah posted a picture of the bike on Twitter, asking her followers to contact her “ASAP” if they spot the bike anywhere around Melbourne.

Shah Firdaus is currently in Melbourne with the likes of Muhammad Khairil Nizam Rasol, Muhammad Fadil Mohd Zonis, Mohamad Shariz Efendi Mohd Shahrin, and world keirin champion, Azizulhasni Awang.

All five of them are training under John Beasley to prep for the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games and other track cycling championships leading up to the SEA Games.

If any of you are in Melbourne, do help out our national cyclist to track his bike!
