The match ticket for the FA Cup final between Kedah and Pahang at the Shah Alam Stadium this Saturday will be sold at the standard price of RM50 for adults and RM5 for children.
Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP) chief executive officer Kevin Ramalingam said that 72,000 tickets (including 2,000 for children) will be allocated.
Kevin said that Kedah and Pahang will receive an equal distribution of tickets for the game. 64,000 adult tickets and 1,500 children tickets will be split evenly between both teams.
“Pahang supporters will be able to buy their tickets at the Darul Makmur Stadium, whereas Kedah fans can get it at the Darul Aman Stadium. The tickets will only be available for sale on Thursday from 10 in the morning onwards,” he said as quoted by Berita Harian.
“FMLLP allocated 6,500 tickets (500 children) to be sold online. Supporters will be able to purchase them on Wednesday and collect them on Thursday at the Malawati Stadium.
According to the FMLLP CEO, the price of the match tickets should not be categorized as expensive because the same price has been used for the past two FA Cup finals.
“I believe the price is fine as it represents one of the most prestigious events in football.”
Kedah will take on Pahang in the FA Cup final at the Shah Alam Stadium on May 20.
