TMJ and Benjamin Mora to host open discussion with JDT fans

Johor DT have announced that Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim will be hosting an open discussion session with fans, alongside head coach Benjamin Mora, as well as several undisclosed first team players.

The announcement was made on their Facebook page earlier today, with JDT even taking a small jibe at ‘football experts’ on social media. “It will be held at the JDT Cafe at 9.00pm, May 8th 2017 and we’re also inviting fans and admins of unofficial Facebook pages related to Johor Darul Ta’zim Football Club to be present as well as individuals who have been ‘experts’ in managing football matters in Facebook,” the statement read.

This comes after the Southern Tigers incurred a 1-1 draw against Melaka United over the weekend, yet another blip in what has been a topsy-turvy season for them. They remain on top of the Malaysia Super League table for the time being, but Mora is still finding it hard to win the trust of JDT fans across the state.

On Sunday, Mora claimed that his side lacks the ability to finish off games, especially when they break the deadlock and clinch the lead. “We had three points in our pocket. But because of a slight mistake in terms of concentration, we conceded a goal and only won one point,” he said.

Speculations suggest that TMJ might even reveal the club’s transfer plans for the second window, which opens on the 15th of May. So JDT fans, go ahead and attend the discussion!
