It’s official, the Crown Prince of Johor Tunku Ibrahim Sultan Ismail is the new FAM president!
The Crown Prince wins uncontested after his rival Tan Sri Annuar Musa made an abrupt decision to withdraw from elections just two days before the big day. The 53rd FAM elections were scheduled to take place this Saturday, 25th of March 2017.
Since TMJ was the crowd favourite anyway, it goes without saying that Malaysian football fans were more than thrilled to find out that their favourite candidate has won!
We can’t wait to see what the Crown Prince can do with FAM. We do hope TMJ will live up to his promises as Malaysian football fans have waited a long time to watch FAM go through a revamp.
And oh, like Syafiq here has said, perhaps we can target the World Cup after this? You never know!
