Annnnddd we’re on to the quarter finals of the 2017 Yonex All England championship in Birmingham!
In today’s quarter finals fixtures, we will see Malaysia’s top mens’ doubles duo Goh V Shem – Tan Wee Kiong taking on China’s Li Junhui – Liu Yuchen.
Match time: 12.30 am (+/-)
That will be followed by the mens’ singles fixture, where our badminton king Datuk Lee Chong Wei will go up against China’s Tian Houwei.
Match time: Subject to the first five matches
In the mixed doubles category, Malaysia’s top seed Chan Peng Soon – Goh Liu Ying will be facing China’s Wang Yilyu and Huang Dongping.
Match time: 1.00 am
Other fixtures include women’s world No 2. Carolina Marin taking on Thailand’s Ratchanol Intanon in the women’ singles, and India’s pride PV Sindhu going up against world No. 1 Tai Tzu Ying from Taiwan.
