Malaysian badminton star Datuk Lee Chong Wei is through to the quarters of All England after securing an edgy two-set win over Taiwan’s Wang Tzu-wei.
Chong Wei was pushed to the limit by Tzu-wei, but he still managed to secure a 21-18 win in the first set at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham.

The Taiwanese shuttler attempted to up the tempo in the second set, but a rather composed Chong Wei used his superiority to eventually clinch another 21-18 win and book a quarter-final slot.
Awaiting him in the last four is either China’s Tian Houwei or India’s HS Pranoy, depending on the outcome of their second round bout.
