It’s official!
Ryan Gibbons of team Dimension Data is the winner of Le Tour de Langkawi 2017.
United State’s Travis McCabe from UnitedHealthCare Pro Cycling Team emerged as the winner of stage 8, as he outclassed Australia’s Anthony Giacoppo and Italy’s Riccardo Stacchiotti to sprint to the finish line.
Already leading the general classifications table, yellow jersey holder Ryan Gibbons from Team Dimension Data only had to finish fourth to be crowned the 22nd winner of Le Tour de Langkawi.
A total of 97 riders were flagged off at 12.09 pm this afternoon in the Stage 8 of Le Tour de Langkawi. The final route covered a total of 121.0 km, where the riders battled it out from Setiawangsa to the finish line at Putrajaya.
