Fadhil Idris slapped with 4-match ban, will miss PKNP v JDT II tonight

PKNP FC’s Muhammad Fadhil Idris has been suspended for four matches after a violent misconduct on the pitch.

Fadhil Idris lost his cool and punched Terengganu’s Issey Nakajima-Farran on the face during a premier league fixture when PKNP FC took on Terengganu at the Stadium Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah. The incident happened on the 21st of February 2017.

After a special meeting held yesterday, Football Association of Malaysia (FAM)’s Disciplinary Committee Vice President, Sheikh Mohd Nasir Sheikh Mohd Sharif confirmed that Fadhil Idris will be suspended for a total of four matches and will have to pay a fine of RM 1,000. He has also been given a stern warning by FAM.

The statement of FAM’s website clarified that Fadhil Idris has violated Article 50.1 (d) FAM 2015 Disciplinary Code, which is misconduct against an opponent or an individual, besides that match official. He was also charged under Article 18.4 FAM 2015 Disciplinary Code that is an order to leave the pitch.

The four upcoming Malaysia Premier League matches that Fadhil Idris will be banned from are:

1) PKNP FC vs ATM on the 24th of February 2017 at Stadium Perak, Ipoh (automatic suspension from the match)
