Azmi Mohamed has resigned as FELDA United’s head coach after only three games into the season.
According to Berita Harian, Azmi made the decision to leave after thinking about whether he is capable of steering the highly ambitious team of achieving success while maintaining a good position.
“Actually, I have to be honest and transparent to say this, this decision is for the best and for FELDA United’s future to go further and become a strong team,” said Azmi.
“I didn’t want to be a coach who only manages the team and accept any result, but the decision I made is the best for FELDA United to compete at a higher level,”
Azmi insisted he has no problems with the management and left the club voluntarily.
However, Azmi said the management has yet to respond to his resignation letter that he sent on Tuesday and hopes it will be accepted for the good of the club.
