Am I talking about the new Mission Impossible movie? No, I’m talking about Johor Darul Ta’zim’s (JDT) new jersey launch video.
Ever since JDT announced last week that they will be launching a set of jersey for the 2017 season, we have been eagerly waiting for the launch video to see how JDT President Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim (TMJ) will outdo their previous launch.
We were not let down. TMJ had JDT captain Safiq Rahim, along with players like Junior Eldstal, Martin Lucero, Marcos Antonio, Hazwan Bakri amongst others to star in the action packed video.
The video begins with a limousine bearing the license plate “FA 2017 M” dispatching a group of men in black, who made their way into the hotel, looking suspicious.
Captain Safiq closely monitors them, and reprimands Junior Eldstal who was more focused on the ladies rather than their mission. The group of men made their way to the vault, as they obliviously pass by JDT players along the way.
As soon as they get to the vault, they are faced by Junior, Lucero, Safiq, Zafuan and Hazwan, and it leads to a fight to secure the premise.
At the end of the intense fight, Safiq calls their boss-cum-gang leader, Mario Gomez and says, “Boss, vault secured.” Gomez then informs the big boss, TMJ, who then continues to chill on his yatch upon hearing the good news.
The video was written and directed by the Crown Prince himself. Truly a class above the rest. Watch the video here.
