JDT announce three-year partnership with Spanish side Valencia

Southern Tigers Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) and Spanish club Valencia have announced a three-year partnership yesterday.

Valencia is owned by Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, and the two sides have been working to make this partnership happen since last year.

As part of the agreement, JDT will get two coaches from the Valencia academy who will work closely with JDT’s sport director, Alistair Edwards.

The two coaches will be tasked to curate long-term development programs for players and coaches alike–based on Valencia Academy’s proven methodologies and development philosophies.

Valencia academy director Jose Ramon Alesanco expressed that they are delighted work with a club like JDT and are looking forward to “support the existing coaching teams as they continue their ambitious plan to make JDT one of the very top teams in the Asia”.
