Johor DT have sealed yet another major move by signing former Harimau Muda prodigy D. Saarvindran from Pahang FA.
A source close to the club has revealed that the 24 year-old attacker officially completed his transfer earlier today, effectively ending his two-year stint with the Tok Gajahs. But it remains to be seen if he’ll be slotted into the main squad, or be integrated into JDT II for the time being.
“Saarvindran is now a JDT player. Move took a while to sort out, but he’s officially a JDT player now,” the aforementioned source told FourthOfficial.com
Saarvindran first broke into the scene with Harimau Muda, where he evolved into a key player under the tutelage of Datuk Ong Kim Swee. When his contract with Harimau Muda expired, Pahang immediately swooped in and brought him over to Kuantan.
However, a mixture of bad luck, injuries and internal turmoil stopped the hardworking forward from completely fulfilling his potential over the last 24 months. That said, JDT could now be the perfect platform for Saarvindran to revive the form that once made him one of the most highly-rated talent in the country.
