JDT boss Mario Gomez has revealed that he’ll be shuffling his squad for the all-important clash against Terengganu, tonight.
The Southern Tigers only need one more win from their last three games to seal the title , though as far as Mario Gomez is concerned, he wants his men to get the job done tonight and he’s prepared to make the necessary changes for that to happen.
“I’ll be making a few changes in the team, especially in midfield. Hariss Harun is suspended, so Amirulhadi will most likely play alongside Safiq Rahim. I’m optimistic both men will be able to give us the balance we need against Terengganu,” he was quoted as saying by Harian Metro.
“I can’t play Azniee Taib as well, since he hasn’t recovered from the injury he picked up against FELDA last month. Amri Yahya would most likely start on the left flank, but I’m also looking at Nazrin Nawi, who is more than capable of getting the job done as well,” he added.
While the Southern Tigers will certainly go into the game as favourites, Gomez has urged his men to stay focused on the pitch, and keep a close eye on Terengganu hitman, Issey Nakajima-Farran
“My players have got to be calm and focused on the field, and we’ve got to avoid making mistakes. They need to also keep our strong opponents at bay, especially Issey Nakajima, who is extremely dangerous,” Gomez concluded.
