Schweinsteiger spotted training with Man United’s first team

Finally!

Fan’s favourite veteran midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has been spotted training with Manchester United’s first team on Monday.

The 32-year old German was removed from the first team by new manager Jose Mourinho as he did not fit into The Special One’s plan. Schweinsteiger last appeared for Manchester United back in March, when United were still under Dutchman Louis Van Gaal.

The former Germany captain has since been training either alone or with the club’s under-23s.

BBC quoted United’s left-back, Luke Shaw as saying, “It’s great to see him back. We found out the news a couple of days ago.”

“He’s a big influence in the dressing room and obviously on the pitch, especially for the young players like myself. It’s a great boost for us, the experience and the quality that he brings.” Shaw added.

In spite of the training photos, we’re still unsure if the German will start for Manchester United, but it’s exciting nonetheless!

Schweinsteiger moved from Bayern Munich to Old Trafford back in July 2015 for a fee of 14.4 million euros (RM 16 million). Rumour has it that he might be free to leave United in January.
