MSL Transfer Rumours: Johor DT to sign PDRM duo?

Johor DT are apparently monitoring the prospects of signing two players from PDRM, as they prepare to bolster their squad for the 2017 Malaysian football season.

Speculation suggests that the Southern Tigers are interested in Latiff Suhaimi as well as Fakhrul Aiman Sidid – both of whom have been ever-present for The Cops, throughout 2016.

27 year-old Latiff Suhaimi primarily plays as an attacking midfielder, but is equally capable of playing upfront. He was even called up to Datuk Ong Kim Swee’s latest Malaysia squad. He’s currently in the running to be a part of their AFF Suzuki Cup squad as well.

On the other hand, Fakhrul Aiman is a left-winger, who also made his international debut in Malaysia’s 0-3 defeat to Indonesia in September, when he replaced Amri Yahya for the last 13 minutes of the match.

Both men can be categorized as late bloomers, especially Fakhrul, who has spent a large chunk of his career playing in the second-tier Malaysia Premier League.

It remains to be seen if JDT do finalize these moves before the Suzuki Cup, but either way, these rumours continue to suggest that the likes of Amri Yahya and Safee Sali will most likely leave JDT at the end of this year.
