If you were up late last night catching Champions League action, chances are that you probably watched the Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid game. Or even Juventus’ 4-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb. Perhaps even Leicester’s history triumph over FC Porto.
But the FC Copenhagen vs Club Brugge fixture produced arguably the best goal of the night – one that will stake a strong claim for the UCL Goal of the Season tag! Thomas Delaney, merely eleven minutes after Copenhagen scored their first goal, unleashed an emphatic volley from outside the box, which flew straight into the back of the net!
Copenhagen went on to add two more goals to seal a comprehensive 4-0 win, though Delaney’s strike was undoubtedly the moment of the match! Check out the video of his goal below!
