National Moto2 racer, Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah is on course to end the MotoGP season with a top 10 finish after collecting 10 points from the Czech Republic Grand Prix.
The PETRONAS Raceline Malaysia rider maintained his consistency by collecting 79 points from 11 rounds, with a best-placed finish of fourth at the Qatar and Catalan GP.
Hafizh, who is currently sitting at eighth, is also on the verge of achieving his 100-point personal target.
“Last week’s achievement has given me the confidence to go for the 100-point barrier this season.
“If I managed to do that, then I’ll be among the top 10 racers at the end of this season as well,” he told Harian Metro.
However, the 22-year-old still feel disappointed for his sixth-placed finish in Czech Republic.
“I have a good opportunity on race day after getting a convincing result during the warm-up session.
“But I can’t feel my fingers during the race due to strong winds and I have trouble with changing gears after a few laps,” he said.
