To all the critics who blasted Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri for spending a club record £16m for CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa, buckle up because you’re in for a ride!
The 23 year-old Nigerian was substituted into the game in the second half and only needed 120 seconds to prove himself worthy to The Foxes supporters at in Stockholm yesterday.
Ahmed Musa received the ball in the Leicester City half, outsmarted Javier Mascherano, left Sergi Roberto for dead and then calmly slotted the ball past Marc-André ter Stegen in goal.
To add the icing on the cake for Claudio Ranieri, Ahmed Musa scored his second goal of the night against the European giants with a world-class finish to reduce the deficit to one goal.
The three-time Russian Premier League winner will be a delight to watch when the season begins especially if he is allowed to partner alongside English sensation Jamie Vardy. Their partnership would probably be regarded one of the fastest striking duos in all of history.
Leicester City tried pulling one back, but it was Barcelona who scored the final goal.
