Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) owner, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has lambasted critics of the current saga surrounding the retirement of JDT players, Safiq Rahim, Aidil Zafuan, S. Kunanlan and Amirulhadi Zainal.
The outspoken Crown Prince of Johor previously released a statement explaining the reality behind the choice undertaken by the said players, but it has not stopped people from criticizing the move.
TMJ has since released another statement via a Facebook post on the JOHOR Southern Tigers page, asking critics to respect the players’ choice. But the Crown Prince also went on to issue a controversial statement, that will undoubtedly be of interest to the higher echelons of Malaysia’s football governing body.
”Here is a pendrive containing the information and activities within the FAM, the media personnel that the FAM always uses including former footballers in Malaysia, the amount of money taken by FMLLP and given to the FAM as well as a rubbish auditor’s report given to me by my high-ranking friends in Kuala Lumpur.
“Maybe it’s time for football supporters of this country to see the truth and judge for themselves,” said Tunku Ismail.
