Ex-Chelsea forward, Demba Ba will be sidelined for a lengthy period after breaking his leg while in action for his Chinese Super League parent club, Shanghai Shenhua.
The 31-year-old, who left Stamford Bridge in 2014 suffered the horrific injury when his leg was knocked upon by the opposition player, Sun Xiang in an awkward position.
Ba scored 14 goals in 51 appearances while representing the London club. The Blues has wished him well via a message on their official Twitter account.

The Senegalese striker has played for Newcastle United and Turkish club Besiktas, before making the move to China, last June.
