Lazio fans, you may want to calm your nerves. There was so much of excitement in Rome, after it was announced two days ago that Marcelo Bielsa would be appointed as Lazio’s new boss.
But merely two days after the announcement was made, it now appears that the ex-Marseille boss has opted to walk away from the deal, leaving Lazio in a state of absolute mess.
The news was broke on Twitter by renowned Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who also broke the story of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s move to Man United last month.

According to Di Marzio, Lazio are considering filing a lswsuit against Bielsa, while caretaker manager Simone Inzaghi looks set to continue his role on a permanent basis.
As of now, there’s very little information on why Bielsa opted to leave the job, though rumours suggest that he could be handed the Argentinean national team job. The English FA have reportedly also approached the 60 year-old.
