5 things you should know about the brand new FIFA 17!

The FIFA franchise by world-renounced game publishers, Electronic Arts, has been taking over the footballing industry, virtually. FIFA 17 will be released on the 23rd of September and here is what we know so far.

1. TOTAL GAMEPLAY ENGINE OVERHAUL (PS4, PC, XBOX ONE)

For the first time ever, FIFA will be powered by EA’s most powerful game engine, the Frostbite 3. To those of you who may be wondering, Frostbite 3 is also the engine that powers EA’s Battlefield series, so you know what to expect on the graphical side of FIFA 17. The implication of Frostbite 3 allows gamers to experience new locations such as stadium tunnels, locker rooms and even team airplanes. More things will be happening on and off the pitch which will stimulate the best footballing experience in your game room.

2. NEW “STORY MODE” CAMPAIGN

Another “first time” addition to the series, a new gameplay mode dubbed, ‘The Journey’, will be available. This is a very new approach to a football simulator genre as it also involves the gamers to go through decision-making challenges off the pitch. As quoted from FIFA’s official website, “For the first time ever in FIFA, live your story on and off the pitch as the Premier League’s next rising star, Alex Hunter. Play on any club in the Premier League, for authentic managers and alongside some of the best players on the planet. Experience brand new worlds in FIFA 17, all while navigating your way through the emotional highs and lows of The Journey.”
