FELDA United player Hadin Azman has announced that it would be in his best interest to join Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT) because it would boost his chances of making the national team.
The winger was a part of The Southern Tigers set-up a few years ago but failed to make an impact and had his contract terminated after he allegedly stole money from a teammate.
However, the two-time Malaysia Super League (MSL) winners have reignited their interest in their former player and wish to sign him before the transfer window ends next month.
Hadin Azman confirmed that he was approached by Johor Darul Ta’azim a few weeks ago.
“They contacted FELDA United recently and offered to bring me back to Johor. The thought of playing for them again had never crossed my mind,” Hadin Azman told FourthOfficial.com.
“I am flattered by their approach and I will have to wait and see in the weeks to come.
The 22 year-old said that it would be a dream come true to don the famous blue kit and it will improve his chances of getting noticed by national team coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee.
“I will be playing alongside the best players in the country and I will be able to learn more from the team and the head coach (Mario Gomez), which will ultimately make me better.
“I have always dreamed of playing for the national team and Johor will be able to help me.
Hadin Azman has scored four goals this season for The Fighters and will be up against the likes of Azamuddin Akil, Azinee Taib and Malaysian legend Amri Yahyah for a spot on the left flank. Nevertheless, he believes he can start for Mario Gomez’s team if he works hard.
“I will definitely give my everything to the club for a place in the line-up. They (Azamuddin, Azinee, Amri) are great players but I know I can be better than them,” Hadin concluded.
The transfer window began a few days ago and will end next month on July 15.
