Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) have decided to buy a piece of land in Valencia or Barcelona in an effort to expand their ambitious footballing project.
A delegation team has been sent to Spain today to scout for suitable locations in the said regions, based on a Facebook post by the Johor Southern Tiger’s official page.
The main reason for the acquisition of the land is to build a training ground and players’ accommodations for their pre-season games in Spain.
Besides that, a place of stay will also be built on that land for JDT’s youth players who will be loan out to Spanish clubs.
