Austrian coach Marcel Koller is one of the most popular men in his homeland having overseen a stunning transformation in his nations footballing fortunes.
Eight years ago Austrian fans were building a petition to force the nation to PULL OUT of co-hosting Euro 2008. the petition fell on deaf ears and they exited as hosts with only a solitary point to their name.
Fast forward to 2016 and Koller takes Austria to France having topped their qualifying group with nine wins out of ten. Hungary needed the play offs to reach the finals and with Bayern Munich’s David Alaba, arguably the tournaments most versatile player pulling the strings, Austria should be too good.
Austria are around about the same price to beat Hungary as England are to beat Wales on Thursday and that flatters Hungary more than it does Wales.
